Welcome — and what this blog is for
If you’ve landed here, you’ve probably already met flove — or you’re about to. The short version: flove is a bet on a slower internet, one where relating, not extracting, is the point. Not a feed that mines your attention, but a small constellation of tools and ideas built at human scale, to be kept rather than to keep you.
This blog is the workshop window. It’s where we think out loud, announce what ships, and keep an honest record of how flove is made. It has three shelves:
- Main — the project and the blog itself: what flove is, where it’s going, the occasional bigger note. You’re reading one now.
- Tech — a running devlog. What’s being built, what broke, what got better. New entries roughly once a month, and whenever we hit a milestone worth marking.
- Theory — the models and the vocabulary underneath flove: the coordinate system, the fuzzy ontology, the why beneath the how. Empty for now. It’s coming.
Nothing here is a launch announcement dressed up as a blog post. It’s closer to a lab notebook left open on purpose — rough edges included, because that’s the more useful and the more honest thing to share.
To start it off, the next two posts lay down the record so far: the road that got flove here, and what’s new most recently. After that, the devlog just keeps going.
